Post 1,000 miles Update
I'm the Founder of the O55 Motorcycle Group which started in March 2023 and now has c1,200 members around the UK, mostly in the South/South East, we organise ride-outs and meet ups on a regular basis (several a week) throughout the year.1000 mile motorcycle Ride for Charity: Tour of the South.
Despite the great british summer, I managed to complete a 1000 mile motorcycle Charity Ride to raise money for Sands (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society), (donations still open).
I actually did 1085 miles. The planned route didn’t quite go to plan due to the great British Summer and I had to take a major detour back to Exeter to go up the M5 instead of the Valley of the Rocks, I was so disappointed but I was soaked through and I didn’t fancy another 3 hours in the rain!
My chosen charity is SANDS which is a charity dear to me, and helped me through the loss of my 2 week old daughter 18 years ago.
